Ingredients
  

For the Dough:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • tsp active dry yeast
For the Sauce:
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp oregano
For the Toppings:
  • ½ cup vegan mozzarella
  • 6 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Method
 

Make the Dough:
  1. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil, then knead until smooth.
  3. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
Prepare the Sauce:
  1. Heat olive oil in a pan, then sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  2. Stir in crushed tomatoes, salt, and oregano. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Assemble the Pizza:
  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out dough and place on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread sauce evenly over the crust.
  4. Add vegan mozzarella and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden.
Serve:
  1. Remove from oven and top with fresh basil.
  2. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
