  • Lemon juice — 1 teaspoon to brighten jackfruit flavor

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add shredded jackfruit, salt, pepper, and chili flakes; cook 5 minutes.
  • Stir in lemon juice and nutritional yeast; cook another 2 minutes.
  • Roll out pizza dough on floured surface to 12-inch circle.
  • Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving edges bare.
  • Evenly distribute the jackfruit mixture over the sauce.
  • Sprinkle vegan mozzarella generously on top.
  • Bake on a tray or pizza stone for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese melted.
  • Remove, scatter fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve immediately.
