  • Salt — a pinch
  • Fresh mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries — 1 cup
  • Coconut oil or vegan butter — 2 tablespoons for cooking

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whisk plant milk, flaxseed, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt coconut oil or vegan butter.
  • Dip each bread slice into the batter, coating both sides generously.
  • Cook slices for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden and crisp.
  • Serve warm topped with fresh berries and extra maple syrup if desired.
