  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional, for heat
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat chickpeas dry with a towel to remove excess moisture.
  3. Toss chickpeas in olive oil and spices until evenly coated.
  4. Spread chickpeas on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Roast for 30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through for even crispiness.
