Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in skillet; sauté onion and garlic until soft and fragrant.
  • Add shredded jackfruit, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, pepper, and liquid smoke; stir to coat.
  • Pour in BBQ sauce; simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to soak up flavors.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C); spread jackfruit mixture on baking sheet.
  • Bake 10 minutes to caramelize sauce and crisp edges.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro; serve hot with vegan sides.
